PENGARUH KINERJA KEUANGAN TERHADAP PREDIKSI KEBANGKRUTAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB-SEKTOR PERDAGANGAN ECERAN DI INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the factors that influence the bankruptcy of the company by using the modified Altman Z Score in retail trading sub-sector companies in 2015-2019. In addition, this study also aims to improve the company's financial performance through the modified Altman Z Score model. The population in this study amounted to 27 retail trade sub-sector companies. Samples were selected using purposive sampling method amounted to 20 companies. The method of analysis using ordinal regression with the help of SPSS. The findings of this study are that there is a negative and significant influence between profitability and fnancial distress. Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on the fnancial distress. And leverage has a positive effect on fnancial distress.
