Abstract

From the results of the study, electricity is a very vital need for human life, almost all household appliances and factories that use PLN electricity originating from PLN cannot always meet the needs.

one day there will definitely be a blackout due to interference or maintenance on the electricity network. Therefore, a power supply backup system is needed for electronic devices that require uninterrupted electrical energy. The backup power supply is used to replace the main source of PLN. In its application, a supporting device in the form of an automatic transfer switch (ATS) is needed to switch from the main source to the backup power supply or vice versa. To move the current and voltage when a power outage occurs, they still use the conventional method, namely manually turning on the electrical load using an inverter. This requires time and energy because it has to be done every time when there is a power outage, so an "Automatic Transfer Switch System" is needed that is able to back up when the electricity goes out, with the aim of meeting electricity needs continuously. A tool that works by using arduino as the main control. Then there is a sensor, namely a voltage sensor. The voltage sensor is used to measure the voltage at the main source, this sensor is located on the input voltag. These electronic components are used for current and voltage monitoring systems.
