Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights is the right to obtain legal protection of intellectual property. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy seeks to facilitate creative economy actors to register Intellectual Property Rights, this activity is carried out in several areas including Pekanbaru City, the public can register IPR through the Creative Economy Agency of the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. At this time the Creative Economy Sector is still conducting direct socialization to the people of the city of Pekanbaru regarding the Intellectual Property registration procedure on creative economy products. Based on the results of direct interviews with the head of the creative economy division of the Pekanbaru Culture and Tourism Office, they need an Intellectual Property Rights registration procedure that is implemented in a visual form as a medium to understand the details of the Intellectual Property Rights registration procedure on creative economy products at the Pekanbaru City Culture and Tourism Office. So that in this study a visual of Intellectual Property Rights registration was made in the form of 3D animation, the information provided on the 3D animation video has been validated by the Head of the Creative Economy Cooperation Section. Details of the Intellectual Property Rights registration procedure can be conveyed effectively as evidenced by an increase in the average score of the test results by 30% after watching a 3D animated video of Intellectual Property Rights registration on creative economy products.
