Estimasi Kebutuhan Material, Jam Orang dan Biaya Penggantian Plat pada Barge Marine Power 3042

Abstract

The process of ship repair is very important because it affects the efficiency of life time, strength, and even the age of the ship. Marine Power 3042 barge included in this case, requires repairs that need to be done at a certain time. The repair process needs to be planned to get the economic value of the fleet. This study aims to estimate material requirements, man hours and plate replacement costs on a marine power 3042 barge. The research method refers to the equation approach form  literature review. The results of this research is material estimate 24 pieces of plat with 49,077 ton, the required man hours is 6944 man hours and the total cost is Rp. 608.665.680,-. The estimation results can be used as a reference for scheduling, planning and budgeting on the both side, owner and shipyard.
