Abstract

Various developments that can be done in an area are made in a space allocation such as allocation for settlement, conservation and cultivation. The development of the tourism sector also requires the availability of information on the potential that can be developed in a region. One of the potentials in a region is derived from the physical potential of the environment. The potential of nature is a tremendous potential, which can be used to attract tourists in visiting.

 One of the regions in Indonesia that has tremendous natural and environmental potential is riau islands province. With the potential of natural beauty in riau islands province, not all are well known and managed. The area in Riau Islands that has natural potential and has not been managed properly, due to the lack of information is in Sembulang. Based on the lack of information about Sembulang, the location of the service will be held in Sembulang Village, Galang District, Batam City, Riau Islands. The service is done by making Thematic Geospatial Information (IGT) that can be used as the basis for zoning development.
