Rancang Bangun Reflector Parabolic pada Solar Panel untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Panen Energi Listrik
Abstract
The sunlight received by solar panel is not fully maximized because the sun's movement is not always above the panel. This causes the electrical energy generated is not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a method using a reflector mirror to increase the yield of electrical energy that comes from sunlight. The parabolic method is used in this research, with the reflector mirror attached to the parabolic frame and a concave mirror serving as the focal point. In its application, incoming sunlight will hit a reflector mirror, which then reflects light to a concave mirror, which serves as the focal point. So that sunlight will be focused on the solar panel, which results in the light from the sun being optimized. The measured voltage and current values will be stored in a data logger using a microSD module. Based on the results of the research, the power generated by solar panels with parabolic reflector is 10.5% greater than that generated by solar panel with flat mirror reflector and 31.23% greater than that generated by solar panel without reflector.
